The highs and lows and ups and downs of passions and the thrill of cricket can only be experienced by participation whether player or spectator.
Since its inception recreational cricket in Norfolk has changed dramatically. The Carter Cup Competition has had to adapt to changes over the years and changes will most certainly continue. That the Competition has endured with the improvements that were first sought and at the same time maintained its standing as the Premier Cricket Competition within the County – the one every Member Club wants to win – is a fitting tribute to the those who had the vision to introduce it and maintained their support and enthusiasm throughout.
