A sparkling 100 from Jack Whatmore including 10 sixes eased Martham to a six wicket win in the 1st Round of the Carter NACO SHIELD.
Rocklands batting first scored 181 for 5 but Whatmore’s explosive innings never left the result in doubt.
In the only other Shield first round game captain David Coyle with 63 and Curtis with 62 helped Hethersett and Tas Valley to a 29 run over Sandringham.
Batting first HTV reached 211 for 8 and restricted their opponents to 182 for 9 to ease through into the 2nd Round.
