TWO TIES, THREE TONS & A BOWL OFF – SUNDAY 21 JUNE

Sunday’s Lady Mary Trophy & NACO Shield games produced some remarkable performances with unbeaten centuries from Carl Amos of Mallards & Alex Robinson of Bradfield plus a superb 112 from S Durrant from Anglians.

This was topped off by two tied games as Garboldisham scored 219 All Out and in reply Dersingham made 219 for 9, therefore going through to the next round by virtue of losing the less wickets.

As if this wasn’t enough the Beccles and Dreham game finished in  a complete tie as after 100 overs both sides had reached 219 for 9; in the subsequent bowl off in alternate balls Beccles took vital wickets off their 3rd & 4th balls to beat Dereham who failed to take any wickets off their 5 balls.
